Prenatal Support For You And Your Growing Family

The time when you find out you are now eating for two (or more) can be stressful.  Employing the services of a trained doula can help empower you to make planning decisions that will not only affect you, but also your partner, and your little one.  Research shows that the support of a doula when used in conjunction with that of a medical provider like an Obstetrician or Nurse Midwife will improve your sense of empowerment, outlook on your birthing experience, and result in fewer medical interventions in the delivery room.

We work with all families to tailor their doula experience to fit their needs.  Some birthing people are nervous about birth and want to meet with us more during their prenatal period than others.  We welcome any chance to sit and learn more about your hesitations with the process and journey you will be floating through.  Our passion in life is to welcome babies into a world naturally and safely while protecting parents and empowering them to make some of the first choices they will make as the delivery room.

Prenatal Support Can Include:

  • An extensive initial visit where your doula will help you talk through your expectations of labor & delivery.

  • Integrative Birth Plan Development

  • Supportive services with reductions or abortive procedures.

  • Specialized help with infant loss and bereavement.

  • Co-management with your medical provider (OBGYN, MD, Nurse Midwife, Home Birth Midwife, etc.)

  • Supportive services for dad or partner.

  • 24 hour per day, 7 days per week on call support

  • Flexible Payment Options including a sliding fee scale for low income families when appropriate.
